SPOTLIGHT ON: ANTHROPOLOGIE
Happy Monday guys!
I thought I'd kick this week off with a new series, where I'll be putting the spotlight on some of my favourite brands and my picks from their latest collections.
I'll be kicking off the first of the series with none other than ANTHROPOLOGIE; who happens to be one of my favourite brands at the moment, after being introduced to them about a year ago by a chance advert on Google- thanks Google!
So for anyone who hasn't heard of Anthropologie before, it's pretty much a one-stop-shop for pretty much everything; from luxury clothing and accessories, to interior items of all styles. Anthropologie describe themselves as a brand that enables people to reflect their personal style and fuel their lives' passions- and I am all here for that!
This time around I've featured my favourite home decor accessories, ranging between low level budgets and some that are a slight splurge... there is definitely something here for everyone!
#MYANTHROPOLOGIE TOP PICKS
BOOKS FOR MOTIVATION, INSPIRATION AND SELF CARE
I absolutely love little books of happiness, motivation and daily reminders to keep the good vibes flowing, which is what attracted me to these three little books of wisdom; 100 Days Happier, The Daily Promise and Walk:The Path to a Slower, More Mindful Life.
I keep little books of joy like this on my bedside table, so that the first thing I do every morning is reach for it's positive vibrations... trust me it works! These three are all avialable for £7.99 each.
DOOR KNOB DESIRES
Did you know that I have a thing for door knobs, handles, switches etc? My heart desires these little things that can drastically change, impact and just add visual value to pretty much anything. Which is why I love these two door knobs, which are both very different in style but equally fascinating.
THE NORTHWEST KNOB £8 EACH
These cuties are available in 3 different finishes as featured below.
THE FARMKEEP KNOB £4.95 EACH
This Hare shaped knob is currently reduced from £12 to £4.95! Bargain.
DINING IN STYLE: DINNERWARE
There's nothing like dining in a location with great decor, and grate table and dinnerware because it really adds to the overall experience. You can create a fine dining experience at home too with the right set (and I prefer to mix & match). I've included some of my current favourites below, and although I wouldn't necessarily pair them all together, I certainly have pieces at home that would complement them.
THE ABINA NUT BOWL | £8
GOLD BRAIDED DINNER PLATE | £11.95
SOSSI TUMBLER | £18.00
GILDED SHAPES MUG | £8.00
DOTTED JUICE GLASS | £3.95
ARTISA SUGAR POT | £28.00
A VERY SEXY WALL BRACKET:
MADISON BRACKET | £36
I know some people might not care for interesting wall brackets as they are usually overlooked as an important decorative factor in ones home, but being the detail diva I am, I'm a sucker for these, particularly in this gold finish and classic design. At £36 each, they are slightly pricey but well worth the money if you'd like wall shelves that are almost guaranteed not to be found in Sally's house from down the road!
LOOKING FOR A NEW VANITY ORGANISER?
FACETED VANITY ORGANISER | £38.00
Love the handmade design of this luxury gold makeup organiser, and makes a great change from the standard clear acrylic vanity organisers.
ROOM & WALL DECOR
You'll notice from my last post that I've finally started getting some decorative items up on the walls in the bedroom and living room now that they've both been decorated. Unless you prefer the minimalist look, I am a big fan of encouraging the use of wall space for art, mirrors and even storage. I've included some of my favourite accents and accessories below, some that are just standard decor items and others that can also go up on the wall.
TASSLED NADIA CUSHION | £48
REDECORATING THE KIDS' ROOM?
TIGER HEAD WALL DECOR | £80
How cute is this tiger head? I always see such creative and playful decor in kids' rooms nowadays, and when I am lucky enough to have my own children, I'd like to make their bedroom/ playroom as exciting as possible.
BEAUMONT STRIPED POT | £4.00
Ahhh, I absolutely love finding ways to bring colour to a room, particularly for those lacking. If your home is predominantly neutral toned or if you're just looking new accessories to add some vibrancy to your space, try some bright coloured plant pots.
TERRIER CANDLESTICK HOLDER | £24
It goes without saying, that anything with some form of animal incorporated into its design is bound to steal my heart...let alone if it's anything doggy related. Absolutely LOVE this terrier candlestick holder and I have no doubts at all that this will be joining my dining table decor very soon.
KEW LANTERN | BETWEEN £6.95- £34.95
Love a good old lantern, because I just love the way different lighting has the ability to create varied moods within a space. Add a few of these to the bedroom or living room if you're looking to make your space a little cozier.
FEATHERED FAUX FUR THROW BLANKET | Currently £82.95
Oh my gosh, how cute is this fur throw blanket? I know we are approaching spring and most people will be putting away their bulky blankets and trading them for something a little lighter, but honestly, I could use these blankets all year round. I love snuggling up on the sofa with a comfy blanket, or even in the garden during spring/ summer when it's a little breezy. This definitely has my stamp of approval.
SWAN TRINKET DISH | Currently £11.95
Trinkets always remind me of being a little girl because every year, at the end of each year, we'd get some personalised trinkets made as a thank-you to my teachers throughout the year, and they were super cute. Really enjoying looking at all the ways you guys have designed, DIY'd or styled your own trinket dishes, and if you like to use them as a jewellery holder then you'll likely love the swan trinket dish.
ANGLED LARS RUG | BETWEEN £159.95 –£599.95
This rug is right up my street, and I know that if you have a similar style to mine, you will also love. It comes in 3 differnt sizes, hence the price bracket, with the top end being quite expensive- but totally worth it I bet. Would you buy this?
Woooh! Well, these are my current favourites at Anthropologie; and whilst the prices vary, I am certain that they reflect the quality of the products. There's currently a sale on online and my nearest store is Regent Street, London so if you ever get the opp to check them out- you won't be disappointed.
Let me know if you had any favourites here too. Do you shop at Anthropologie too?
