DENNY BUSYET

Today’s spotlight post is focusing on the work of a visual artist that I’ve been following for some time now and whose work continually inspires my creativity. Denny Busyet creates Dreamlike Artworks inspired by 80’s / 90’s Aesthetics Nostalgia and Fueled By Synthwave and I cannot help but feel like I want to live in the realm of his art everytime I observe a piece of his work.

Amazing right? Denny’s artistic goal is to inspire the viewer to sweetly reminisce about “The good old days”. His Work mainly focus on 3D imagery. He’s also a Synthwave Enthusiast (couldn’t you kinda tell?); a musical genre in homage to the pop culture sounds and imagery of the 1980s and early 1990s. For him, music, art, and other forms of expression are intrinsically linked.

I’m really picking up on the 80s/90s retro vibes that Denny intends and I’m quite easily lost in his art for a few minutes; creating my own reality in my mind as a result. I’m such a dreamer!

One of the things I love so much about the art that Denny creates is that he’s extended these to be available in print form. If you’re like me and love a good selection of pop prints around the home or office then you’ll defo find some treasures in his shop to add to your collection. After all, (and I know I sound like a broken record right now) but our homes should reflect our personalities and his work is absolutely a reflection of mine.

Some of my personal recommendations from his shop are the Vaporwave Aesthetic and 80s Drive-in art prints, both of which can be purchased on his Society 6 shop. There’s also the option to have his prints made as Metal art prints (I find the concept super cool and I have yet to try) via his shop on Displate.

Look forward to seeing how Denny’s work evolves in the comings years and I’d be particularly be interested in seeing if he’ll apply the same aesthetic to artfully visualise life in the current millennium and other ages for that matter!
