FEATURE WALLS ARE STILL A THING!

Ever notice how some folks seem to have fallen out of love with wallpaper and feature walls lately? Not me. I've got a feature wall in my living room and wallpaper in the bedroom, and let me tell you, I'm all about it.

Fun fact about me: I've got the ultimate wallpaper guru in my corner—my mum. She's like the wallpaper whisperer, helping me get everything lined up just right and offering invaluable advice on tackling tricky corners and fixtures. I've picked up pretty much all my wallpapering know-how (including the do's and don'ts) from her, and I couldn't be more grateful.

So, with that in mind, I wanted to share five incredibly cool wallpaper styles to ignite your inspiration for your next feature wall or to remind you why wallpaper will always be a must-have. Let's dive in!

1. ORLA KIELY'S MULTI STEM WALLPAPER

You probably already know that I'm a fan of the Orla Kiely brand after really having a look at her homeware collection some time ago, and I'm extending the love to this playful wallpaper with her signature stem print.

This wallpaper can be used to bring colour to a room with very minimal decor and furniture, and looks particularly great as featured here in the bedroom.

But why stop there? Feature walls aren't limited to the bedroom and living room. This super sassy print also looks great in the kitchen and I totally feel like there's something "homely" about it. What d'ya think?

Love, Love, Love!

Love, Love, Love!

The Orla Kiely Multi-Stem Wallpaper can be purchased via Wallpaper Direct at £75 per roll but is currently on offer for £60. This is also available in different colours, so don't fret if you love the print but aren't so big on the colours because there are plenty to choose from.

How cute does it look in a children's room? Playful and traditional...UGH, what a combination.

You can also get a free sample of this on the Wallpaper Direct website and I really encourage this so that you can pin it up in your chosen room and imagine what the finished space would look like. It's like a real-life vision board...or maybe not real life... 3D? 4D? Whatever, you get my drift.

2. EAST URBAN'S METAL HEXAGONS MURAL WALLPAPER

I fell in love with this grey honeycomb effect design by East Urban the moment I saw it and love the fact that it could be the major focal point of the room even without striking colours.

This wall mural is doing the absolute most and i'd totally use this to create a statement wall in my living room, bathroom or kitchen. The 2.4m wallpaper design can be purchased via Wayfair for £41.99 per roll and the 2.8m for £57.99.

Design savviness at it's absolute finest.

3. GRAHAM BROWN ETERNITY TEAL AND COPPER WALLPAPER

If you're going for a more luxurious glam look for your feature wall then you'll probably love this elegant copper geometric detail wallpaper by Graham Brown

These shades work beautifully well together (and are totally on trend btw) and I almost considered a similar palette for my home office, until I decided on something slightly more vibrant.

You can buy this blossoming design on the Graham Brown website at £50 a roll. I know some of you are probably thinking 'who the hell would spend £50 on one roll of wallpaper", but for a distinct design like this, and those above also, I promise you that it's worth it. On the plus side, the paper quality is also usually better (particularly with reputable brands like Graham Brown) and as long as they're applied correctly, you won't have the worry about the paper tearing on application or worse, coming home to the wallpaper hanging down the wall.

And to help you picture how gorgeous this will look in ya pad...

4. DURAN: WEMYSS DIAMOND WALLPAPER COLLECTION

Another current fave from Wallpaper Direct is this classic spotted print paper by Wemyss (who, by the way, I have never heard of). I've always had a thing for monochrome themes in homes and this motif design is no exception.

Ok so I'm defs not a fan of the furniture and interiors used in the image (other than the wallpaper of course), but there is SO MUCH MORE that you could do with this stylish wallpaper.

TEAM GB baby! As you can see, black and white pairs well with red and blue but this wallpaper would look with most colours...I'm even thinking neon yellow!

This wallpaper retails at £49.50 but is currently on offer for £39.60, so if you're quick, you might even bag yaself the discount.

5. ARTHOUSE TROPICS PINDORAMA FLORAL WALLPAPER

Last, but definitely 100% NOT least is the Navy Pindorama floral wallpaper by Arthouse, which I found via World of Wallpaper. I should probably start by saying I am not usually a fan of floral prints because I find them quite grandma-ish and they remind me of the monstrosity wallpaper I had in the hallway of my old flat. But, I am all the way turned on by the vibrant tones and foilage style of this wallpaper and think the colours work exceptionally well together.

Price? Well, I was pretty shocked to discover that this high end design only retails at £12.49 per roll. Is that a bargain or what? And if you're not quite convinced, feast your eyes on how this wallpaper all comes together in this eclectic boho styled room below...

Awrghhhh! I think this is my favourite of the bunch.

Also, those lanterns though! ^^

Anyway, what was I trying to say? Oh yeah, FEATURE WALLS are still groovy and if you haven't been able to find any you love here then I'd totally be up for helping you find the perfect "one". Just drop me a line or DM me and we can get talking about what you're looking for.
